i'm new to this stuff, i've used the VGA connector for everything till i got this screen. X41 Tablet ThinkPad R, A, G and Z Series ThinkPad Legacy Hardware Thinkpad - General HARDWARE/SOFTWARE questions ThinkPad Utility Work Area Post-Classic Lenovo Hardware 3000 Series and so is the lenovo t440s - IPS screen, full HD, really amazing. The fact that you had to set it that low means you proved that the regular DVI can't really handle more than 1080p, as a previous response had said.
If it works, it seems that your laptop can't handle the 2 displays at the same time. Both being used on new MacBook Pros for about 6 months. Beautiful picture. Lemme go try to find this out.
