Windows 8 is awful. Usually the complaint is that letters are showing up as numbers.If it were letters being entered as numbers the anti-keylogging feature of Constant Guard would be the culprit. Now it'll appear on that page.

Most answers tell you to go to the 'store' and get your programs there, but I don't have 'store'.... Started Normally and it ran CHKDSK automatically during startup. Actually Windows 8 Start Screen shows a rectangle tile of Desktop which allows you to switch to Desktop from Start Screen. It is pretty darn clunky to look at and it also has a whole bunch of misspellings throughout the interface.
