Reply 31. Check your warranty before making any changes to your computer. If your'e into gaming and push the PC, it'll get warm and the fans will kick in and the PC will be noisy until it cools down again. Finaly, if you bought some PCI fan slot adapter, don't use them, because they are too noisy, but keep just the metal pci slot and take off the plastic fan.

Dell has fixed whatever was causing all that noise. Apparently the controller was very sleepy. this was a few days back. Both issues are sporadic.

Sometimes this is accompanied with a blue screen, sometimes not. It's Dells job to come up with the correct components(fans) no mater what the cost.
