I just need to find my shadow copies tab since HP does not have it under C Drive/Properties. You should be able to make a new system restore point though as new points just overwrite your oldest restore point. Problem is I cannot find a shadow copies tab under Computer/C Driv/Properties. What I suggest is the following: Go into Control Panel > System and maintenance > Backup and Restore Center.
