sucked! HP said they would release the new firmware soon. 0 This discussion has been inactive for over a year. For the units doing the dual monitor it's not completely boot and walk away, I do go into the resolution config and setup the second monitor for spanning. has this KB hotfix been deprecated and replace by something newer? Additional batteries are affected. We had to apply updates just to make it functional, and we've had 3 of the 6 come back to us not working correctly at all. Figured it let you guys know incase anyone else is using the HP 5530 w/CE 6. He have not received any reports of any imaged thin clients (with the new image) crashing again...
Followed but a few odds and ends. The Citrix Farm is a Win2003 PTS 4.5 Server Farm running on XenServer 5.6Only the T5740 model's are performing badly, the others are fine.We have tried:- Upgrading the network driver.- Turning I suspect HP is just giving us the run around here (unless it was stealth patched). Can't do that with the NComputing or other smart zero ones I saw.
No freezes. I love my T520's with ThinPro 5.1 now. Meaning occasionally when a user willboot up the device it will present a Blue Screen of Death recovery screen- " System needs to be repaired". The problem is not yet solved.
Curious if others have run into the similar issues with this model. I finally lost it and sent a response about how awful the "communication" is and that I couldn't even translate what the heck they where saying and that their solutions to The HP ThinPro's have VNC built in and it's made life a lot easier. - We didn't get as many as you and have essentially just been biting the bullet and replacing the thin clients with the good OS as they die, instead of re-imaging.

The problems still appears.I also checked a RDP-session from the thin client. Attempted to get someone from Igel to contact me, no response. So easy to update, configure, and they just work good (using with true dual monitor to XenApp 6.5).
When I talked to the 3LS guy on the phone he said "that's not what I sent Level 1 to tell you"!" Geez.
VNC into the thinclient and show 3LS the problem, yeah that was awesome! If I didn't care about the unit name and the ones with a single monitor then I wouldn't do anything manually.
