Worked for me..does anyone know why? From Task Manager, click 'new task' on the applications tab. everything came back .. Only thing I can guess at is that the Explorer file was either corrupted or whatever and the system replaced it.

this "regedit" thing worked for me as well. YEAH!! She does occasionally get a 404 error when trying to bring up webpages and I can't figure that out either even though I have checked everything it told me to check, still working on it!
