How do they expect one windows ecosystem to work without any basic syncing? Wasnt this one of the big selling points of Windows 8? Windows 8 divides it’s syncable settings into several broad categories, but doesn’t actually explain what each category syncs. I recommend everyone to do so. Terrible decision to remove it as it was a key differentiating feature. Seriously though, having Insiders also does not equate to the general populous. It’s particularly useful if you don’t use the default settings and spend time customizing your language options. Not all Windows Desktop apps are available on the Windows Store, which also implies "holes" when you try to sync your Start layout. One-way sync (phone to PC) is better than no sync at all. i'm not really tech savy so need help with this. You could also change the default save location of frequently-used applications to the SkyDrive folder or to a location within that folder. The layout you choose to start with is personalised.
